The South West Opera Company are delighted to present their production of Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. Audiences should expect breathtaking costumes and set design, spectacular choreography and enchanting music that will take them on a journey to a place where wishes really can come true and magic happens right before their eyes.

Cinderella is choreographed and directed by Mary-Ellen Sutherland with musical direction by SWOC Royalty Marguerite Monagle. Award-winning costumier Deb Prentice returns with astonishing costumes and stage designs.

The lead cast includes Katie Shorrock as Cinderella and Jayne Lee as the Fairy Godmother, who have had extensive performance experience on London's West End, and Gab Nash, who has performed in the National Gondwana Choir. The Ugly Stepsisters include local radio celebrity Rosie Panetta and up and coming local talent Holly Prentice who both bring a fireball of spunk and comedy to the show. SWOC Soprano Jenean Halket returns to the stage as the evil stepmother. The breadth and talent of the South West Opera company will ensure our entire lead and ensemble cast will impress audiences with their vocal strength and stage performance.

With an orchestra and cast of nearly 70, this large-scale production will delight the whole family.
