ATA Allstar Artists presents

The Glenn Miller Orchestra

Tuesday 22 July 07:30 PM
Run time: 140 mins (inc interval)
The Glenn Miller Orchestra

Direct from the USA, the world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra is returning to Bunbury! This concert will feature 26 musicians, singers, and dancers on stage, performing the unforgettable music of the 1940s, from the Golden Era of Swing.

A special added feature will be music from the library of The Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band performed by the Orchestra, including the original arrangement of The St Louis Blues March.

The Glenn Miller Orchestra, featuring America's finest musicians and singers, together with The Moonlight Serenade Singers and The Broadway Swing Dancers bring back all those sentimental memories of the 1940's - the great 'Big Band' hits, the original Glenn Miller arrangements, the music of The Andrews Sisters, the Frank Sinatra Songbook and the romantic World War II melodies made famous by Vera Lynn.

Even after 77 years, Glenn Miller's musical arrangements are still heard around the world - timeless icons of American culture such as Chattanooga Choo Choo, In the Mood, Tuxedo Junction, A String of Pearls, Moonlight Serenade, Little Brown Jug, Pennsylvania 6-5000. This music which has captivated millions of people worldwide is all brought together on stage in what promises to be a memorable concert!
