This travelling band of intrepid funny-makers are taking over Australia, one town at a time, with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow!

It's silly, it's satirical, it's side-splitting. It's Australia's ultimate comedy roadtrip!

Bob Franklin - MC

Bob Franklin is an award-winning stand-up comic, writer, director and actor. He has been twice nominated for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Barry Award and has won both the MICF Piece of Wood Award and the Sunday Age Best Comedy Show of the Year Award. His television and film work includes Bad Eggs, The Librarians, Stupid, Stupid Man, Please Like Me, Jack Irish and Thank God You're Here. He has written and directed two short suspense films.

Carl Donnelly (UK)

An Edinburgh Fringe favourite, Carl's style of comedy has landed him nominations for the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2013 and for Best Newcomer in 2009. He has won Best Newcomer at The Chortle Awards (2007), Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year (2007) and Laughing Horse New Act of the Year (2006). Known internationally as well as in the UK, CARL has performed at some of the biggest comedy festivals in the world including; Montreal Just for Laughs, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival and Kilkenny Cat Laughs.

Gillian Cosgriff

After graduating from WAAPA in 2010 with a Bachelor of Music Theatre, Gillian went on to write her debut show, Waitressing…And Other Things I Do Well, which debuted at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival and played to sellout crowds in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. She also recorded an EP of original songs from the show with Luckiest Records, which was released on iTunes in 2011. Her television appearances include Offspring, House Husbands, Fat Tony & Co., and Ricketts Lane, and she was a backing vocalist for Kate Miller-Heidke's 2012 album, Nightflight.

Guy Montgomery (NZ)

Guy Montgomery is an award-winning comedian, improviser and screenwriter, who is tragically best known as co-host of the international smash podcast 'The Worst Idea of All Time'. A stand-up comedian in the style of everyone you like, his surreal style of bemoaning the everyday has fast won him praise and awards in his native New Zealand and as far west of New Zealand as Australia. Guy has featured in Just For Laughs Sydney (2016), the New Zealand Comedy Gala (2015, 2016), the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and toured with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow 2016.

Ivan Aristeguieta

Ivan Aristeguieta became a full time comedian after having a successful career as a Brew Master and Food Technologist in his home country of Venezuela. He left the Brewery but beer is still part of his job. He quickly escalated to become part of the new Venezuelan comedy movement selling out shows around Venezuela and Miami-Florida (USA). In 2012 Ivan migrated to Australia and took the great challenge of performing comedy in a second language and aimed for Australian laughter. He has toured around Australia for 2 consecutive years with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow and the Sydney International Comedy Festival Showcase Tour.
