Out of the Box + Into the Cube is turning one!
To help us celebrate, Fremantle indie-pop darlings SAN CISCO are heading to BREC for an exclusive one-off show!
After releasing their debut self titled album to international acclaim in 2012, San Cisco recently returned with their latest offering, Gracetown. Taking the title from a laid back coastal town in South Western Australia, Gracetown showcases a more worldly approach to life, exploring the tyranny of love, displacement, homesickness, heartache and heartbreak, via disco, funk, soul and hip hop undertones.
However, don't go jumping to the conclusion that Josh, Scarlett, Jordi and Nick have lost their trademark catchiness and lyrical wit - that is still very much present. This is cleverly crafted storytelling that anyone can relate to.
Joining them are their good friends GRRL PAL, who last played in Bunbury at January's Out of the Box + Into the Cube to rave reviews. They recently released their new EP to a capacity crowd at The Bird in Perth, and now they're heading back to Bunbury to party with you!
Also making an appearance on the night is local band Third Time Round, who took out Battle of the Bands here at BREC in April.
That's not all that is happening on the night though - Bunbury's X2Y group are also celebrating their second birthday with a massive party in their self-themed X2Y Lounge. With an exclusive pre-show function, an exclusive bar for members only and with local DJ's playing in the X2Y Lounge all night, this is not one to be missed.
This is set to be the event of the year, and is made possible by X2Y and Bunbury Volkswagen.
You don't have to be a member of the group to buy a ticket, but you can join in their 2nd birthday celebrations with a heap of amazing benefits.
An X2Y VIP ticket gets you the following benefits:
Obviously with this ticket you can still move throughout the whole venue - you still have full access to all spaces and can still buy drinks from the main bar.
