The National Youth Choir of Australia's Chamber Choir comes to Bunbury as part of its 2014 season with acclaimed Australian choral conductor Carl Crossin. Carl is currently Director of the Elder Conservatorium of Music at the University of Adelaide, founder/conductor of the Adelaide Chamber Singers, conductor of the Elder Conservatorium Chorale and Chorus Director of the Adelaide Symphony Chorus. He was awarded an OAM in 2007 for his services to music.

NYCA has been conducted by leading Australian and international choral conductors, and has been attracting Australia's most talented young choral singers between the ages of 18-26 for over 15 years.

A highlight of the concert will be the world premiere of a new work written by the New Zealand born composer Clare Maclean titled Talismans. Also in the program will be acclaimed US composer Eric Whitacre's Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine.

The choir will be joined by local choirs, the Bunbury Bel Canto Singers and Vocal Fusion.
