BREC and Bendigo Bank present

FREE4YOUth with Bendigo Bank

Thursday 10 April 03:30 PM
FREE4YOUth with Bendigo Bank

Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre and our Youth & Community Partner Bendigo Bank are excited to announce the return of the popular FREE4YOUth with Bendigo Bank for 2014!

Presented as part of National Youth Week, the first event for the year will be held straight after school on Thursday 10 April and promises two hours of FREE fun backstage at BREC for anyone aged between 12 and 25.

Young people can turn up on the day, enter through backstage and be ready for loads of fun and free stuff! There will be live tunes by Bunbury Senior High School Year 11 students Jordan Reimers and Nikita Smit, snacks, soft drink and plenty of giveaways! Prizes include Hillzeez and Jet Juice vouchres, as well as scholarship places to our SPLAT! school holiday circus workshops or passes to see SPLAT! It's a Kids Game Show at BREC on Wednesday 16 April. The event will also feature informational stalls from local organisations.

As well as encouraging young people to enjoy live theatre through the plethora of high calibre shows on offer, BREC aims to inspire young people to become actively involved with their local theatre and start a genuine conversation about how they would like to engage with the Centre.

FREE4YOUth with Bendigo Bank is just one of the many initiatives in place as a result of BREC's partnership with Bendigo Bank. The initiatives aim to make the performing arts more accessible to the South West's youth community. A strong focus is to provide young people with a socially inclusive environment where they can experience the performing arts in a way they otherwise would not be able to.
