BREC and Bendigo Bank present

FREE4YOUth with Bendigo Bank

Tuesday 23 September 03:30 PM

Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre and our Youth & Community Partner Bendigo Bank are excited to announce that the September installment of FREE4YOUth with Bendigo Bank will be held in The Cube, BREC's new theatre, featuring a performance by Bunbury Catholic College's Winter's Saviour!

Winter's Saviour recently played at the Equity Music Festival and are currently getting ready to release their EP. This progressive rock band will delight the audience with a unique sound influenced by the likes of Muse, Dream Theatre, and a hint of Pink Floyd, and will prove that the keytar still rocks.

FREE4YOUth with Bendigo Bank will be held straight after school on Tuesday 23 September and promises 90 minutes of FREE fun backstage at BREC for anyone aged between 12 and 25.

Young people can turn up on the day, enter through the new Box Office, and be ready for loads of fun and free stuff. As well as the live performance by Winter's Saviour there will be music, snacks, soft drink and plenty of giveaways from the Centre.

As well as encouraging young people to enjoy live theatre through the plethora of high calibre shows on offer, BREC aims to inspire young people to become actively involved with their local theatre and start a genuine conversation about how they would like to engage with the Centre.

FREE4YOUth with Bendigo Bank is just one of the many initiatives in place as a result of BREC's partnership with Bendigo Bank. The initiatives aim to make the performing arts more accessible to the South West's youth community. A strong focus is to provide young people with a socially inclusive environment where they can experience the performing arts in a way they otherwise would not be able to.
