Bunbury residents are invited to see the Australia Day fireworks with the best view in town at BREC's inaugural fundraising event, the Australia Day Gala Spectacular, on Monday 26 January from 6.30pm.
This black tie event will be held in the Sky Bar overlooking the Leschenault Inlet. Guests can view Bunbury's Australia Day celebrations in style, enjoying canapés and cocktails while listening to some world class entertainment from glamourous jazz duo Libby Hammer and Ali Bodycoat, supported by some of Perth's best jazz musicians.
"The support for BREC from the local community has been so overwhelming and is such a part of our history. I really hope that the community continues to get behind the Centre and come along to this great fundraising event!" BREC General Manager Joel McGuinness said.
"All funds raised from the event and a silent auction on the night will aid BREC in acquiring a digital projector. This purchase will ensure Bunbury's lovers of film can again view the latest movie offerings as well as festival hits and the classics."
The prized item in the silent auction will be a Golden Ticket, allowing free entry into every BREC show for an entire year. Other items to be auctioned include pieces from the centre's collection of poster memorabilia, named theatre seats and more.
Tickets for the night, which promises to be the event of the year in Bunbury's social calendar, are $180 per person including drinks, food, live entertainment, silent auction and the best view of the fireworks in town. Tickets can be purchased online at www.bunburyentertainment.com or by calling 1300 661 272.
